Wreally Small Wreaths!

As we hurtle towards the Festive period, I like to try to make as much as possible, to prevent getting sucked into the commercialism of it all. I hand make my presents and cards, and try to make whatever else I can. I decided this year that I wanted to have a go at making my own wreath. I normally buy a handmade fresh wreath, I like Blue Spruce, with white decorations. My front door is red, so holly wreaths just disappear and I think that green and white look more sophisticated. As the BF persuaded me to get a fake tree (pah!) - he says he's allergic to pine needles - I like to have the smell of a fresh wreath to greet you at the door. Anyway, I bought a moss wreath from eBay ready to make my own. It was a bargain, buy one, get one free, I envisioned soaking the moss for a few days, taking a long leisurely walk in the woods to collect stuff to make the wreath with, it was going to be perfect. It was only when the wreaths arrived I realised with horror that I'd misread the 8 inch wreaths for 18 inch and they were far too small to hang on my door. Ah, well. I'm going to have to try to find a ring elsewhere now; unfortunately there's aren't any florist sundries suppliers out there who will serve the public. I might have to tackle eBay again. The moral of the story? Never shop on eBay when you've had a few drinks *lol*
Anyway, inspired by an idea from Ysolda's blog, I wondered if anyone out there would like to do a Christmas card swap, handmade or bought if that's all you have time for, but it would be lovely to exchange Yule greetings with my net buddies and blog readers. Email me at samsaradesigns@hotmail.com with your name and address and I will return your email with my details. Lets spread the love out there *lol*

I'm up or a card swap, especially as I have loads of cards already made.

I'll email you.

Hmmm the email address doesn't work, but I've had a guess at what I think it should be, so hopefully you've got a message...
