Well, how have you all been then? Things here have been busy as always. I have wheels again and am mobile. Photos of the new jalopy will follow when I get round to it! M hates that I've nicknamed it the jalopy; he chose it and he loves it. Me, well, I'm kinda less impressed. I like a nippy car and this one is big and heavy and it's French and the controls are all in different places. But it's wheels.
I haven't got much further with the BPT hoodie. I got it out Sunday morning, went to get a cuppa and when I came back, Pippin had made a nest in it! And me being the softy that I am, and Pippin having a big abscess on her back, you know how it is. Yep, I left her there.
So my crafty exploits this week have been quite minor ones. I treated myself to a bundle of beads at Hobbycraft and created this necklace.
Loving this pendant!
I've been playing with Kaleidoscopes and cameras. I've been thinking about taking photos through different apertures with my digital camera to create different effects. This one's through a little hand kaleidoscope and created a swirls of pendants.
This one was through a pair of starburst glasses. This one's really pretty!
I've also been making a few quick crafts for schools Secret Santa week. You have a little present a day for the last week of term and then the main present is given to the recipient during the Christmas party. This one's a t-light burner that I've decorated. My partner likes pink sparkly things.
This one will be a pink corkscrew scarf. It just needs a few finishing touches.
And this one is a decorated Bic biro which I've wrapped in ribbon and painted. I just need to embellish it a little and make it properly sparkly.
Other than that it's been work work work! I spent the weekend doing pottery classes and bath classes which entailed a dozen eight year olds learning to make bath bombs, bath salts and body glitter gel. Oo yes, I finished Narnia on my DS, and M and I have been playing Carnival and Wii Sport and Play. So, not all work then *lol* We have a couple of weeks left before the Hafla, so I've been trying to memorise the routine. I haven't even thought about my costume yet! Eeek!
